I will develop and load your large or small databases from a few dozen to several hundred million records. We can work out specs together or I'll accept what you prepare. Best if on your host/server, but other arrangements can be made.

FREE Initial consultation. NO CHARGE for time spent learning something new if it is MySQL related and needed for your task. I charge a very reasonable HOURLY FEE for db/system related tasks. This rate is for analysis, adaptation and production. We can discuss flat rate pricing if the task can be clearly and completely defined.

Data Service 1 - Examination of source data.
Data Service 2 - Database design and table definition.
Data Service 3 - Extraction of desired fields from source data.
Data Service 4 - Data table loading.
Data Service 5 - Setup of data server, if needed.
Data Service 6 - System configureation for Linux servers, if needed.

Brief Service Description

	Examination: review of source data; estimate number of rows and columns needed for data table(s); examine sample data.
	Database Design: Clarifying purpose of the database. Determining number of tables and schema for each, including data types for each field.
	Extraction: Identifing the desired information and formating it for efficient loading into a data table.
	Database Loading: Formatting of data selected in the Examination Phase and loading into the database tables identified int the Design Phase.
	Setup of server: If needed, collaboration to identify and procure a hosting service for final database.
	System configuration: Includes basic OS configuration to facilitate database functioning, if not already configured. I will work with all versions of *nix. I am most familiar with CentOS, Debian and Slackware.
